Liverpool are plotting a move for Feyenoord star winger Anis Hadj Moussa, sources have told Football Insider.

The right-sided star, 22, is being watched closely by the Reds after his promising start to life with the Eredivisie side.

Hadj Moussa has been identified as a potential back-up for Mohamed Salah after his performances with Feyenoord this term.

He joined the Dutch side after Arne Slot left them for Anfield but the Liverpool manager is well aware of his talents after green-lighting the winger’s arrival in April – before departing De Kuip months later.

The Paris-born star has impressed in the Champions League this term and turned in a man-of-the-match performance against Man City in November.

Hadj Moussa has made 19 appearances across all competitions for Feyenoord this term, notching six goals and two assists.

He started on the periphery of Brian Priske’s side but has since graduated to a starring role.
