Martin Keown shares whether Arsenal are now in 'massive crisis' as he slates Mikel Arteta decision from last night

Arsenal fell to their first Champions League defeat of the season as Inter Milan ran out 1-0 winners at the San Siro on Wednesday night.
The Gunners lost in controversial circumstances in Milan as they conceded a contentious spot kick whilst being denied a solid penalty shout of their own.
Arsenal midfielder Mikel Merino was denied a penalty when Yann Sommer clattered into him in the box, before then being penalised for a harsh handball decision.
Despite Merino being a yard away from where the ball was delivered, it was nonetheless adjudged to be a penalty, which Hakan Calhanoglu duly put away.
Arsenal have now failed to win any of their last three Premier League games and have lost three of their last six in all competitions.
At full time, Highbury legend Martin Keown gave his thoughts on the Gunners and whether they are in a state of crisis.

Martin Keown says Arsenal are not far off getting things right
Keown, speaking on TNT Sports (6/11/2024, 10:22pm), said he doesn’t feel that Arsenal are in a bad place, claiming they’re not that far away from getting it right.
The former Gunners defender also said he felt Ethan Nwaneri should have been brought on earlier than the 82nd minute.
“I don’t think there is a massive crisis for Arsenal,” said Keown. “I don’t think they are far away from getting it right.
“Yes, they’re not scoring goals, but Ethan Nwaneri coming on, he should have been on a bit earlier.”
Inter boss Simone Inzaghi was certainly impressed by Arsenal, saying they were “one of the best teams I have seen so far in the Champions League this season.”
Meanwhile, Thierry Henry said he thinks Arsenal's away form is a big issue at the moment and that the Gunners are not “getting away with it” any more.
How Nwaneri fared for Arsenal against Inter
Although Nwaneri came on with just eight minutes to go plus stoppage time, he still gave a good account of himself.
The 17-year-old took 15 touches of the ball, completed nine of his 10 passes, won one ground duel, and completed one dribble.
Goal.com wrote of Nwaneri’s display: “Lively late cameo. Sent one shot over. Needs to be given more minutes.”
Nwaneri could make his ninth appearance of the season when Arsenal head to Chelsea on Sunday for their final Premier League game before the international break.
