Matty Cash has undergone a difficult period recently due to injury and being dropped from the team – now he's ready to get back to his very best.
The right-back hasn't played a full 90 minutes for Aston Villa since their 1-1 draw against West Ham on 26 January in what has been his toughest part of the season.
Cash missed several games due to a muscle injury and has struggled to nail down his position in Unai Emery's team ever since.
He has only started once in the Premier League since returning from injury in mid-February, with Cash now having to fight to get his spot in the team back.
Prior to his injury the 27-year-old was starting regularly for Villa and had been playing a significant role in their success this season in England and Europe.
However, Cash has been selected only once in the starting XI since his return to full fitness and was omitted for last weekend’s win against Brentford although he did come on as a half-time substitute.
Matty Cash is glad to be back to his best
Cash is currently away on international duty with Poland as he looks to add to the 15 caps he's already picked up throughout his career.

Cash has established himself at an international level in recent years and will be looking for some game time during the current break.
He shared his excitement for this period on Instagram by saying, "Great to be back."
Aston Villa want to strengthen for next season
Cash will be keen to prove his worth to Emery in the remaining games this season as the club are expected to be strengthening again in the summer transfer window.
Mick Brown told Football Insider that Villa are likely to sign Marco Asencio on a permanent contract after his loan period.
Marcus Rashford is another player Villa may look to sign on a permanent basis after he has impressed since joining on loan from Man United.
