Dominic Solanke bagged his first goal for Tottenham last time out against Brentford, which hopefully gives him the confidence to push on from here.

Ange Postecoglou is known for his interesting style of play, and that was no different on Saturday, as the Lilywhites kept the high line even in testing moments with a slim lead.

Brentford had more possession over the 90 minutes, but Tottenham dominated things on the shot front with 23 to six.

James Maddison and Destiny Udogie were left in awe of Dominic Solanke after his performance against Brentford, as they took to his Instagram.

Now, Darren Bent has been speaking about the English striker and predicted how many goals he might end up with this season.

Tottenham believe that Dominic Solanke is about to seriously improve, and fans will be hoping that he kicks on from here with a big void to fill from Harry Kane.

James Maddison is another player who has been criticised so far this season, but he put in what has been described by Gabriel Agbonlahor as his best performance in a Spurs shirt.

Now, when speaking live on TalkSPORT at 4:44pm, Darren Bent has stated that Solanke should get 15 goals minimum.

“"Yes, minimum (15 goals this season). I guess for him and playing in that team with the creativity they have got. If he gets 15 to 20 for Tottenham, that is still a really good season. 15 to 20 is a good season."

What was Darren Bent’s goalscoring record like?

Darren Bent knew how to find the back of the net.

The Englishman scored 218 goals in 517 games during his career, which included 25 goals and seven assists for Tottenham Hotspur.

He won the English League Cup during his time in North London in 2008 as Tottenham beat Chelsea.

Dominic Solanke has shown that he can do it at Bournemouth but now he has the huge £65 million price tag on his shoulders.

With Tottenham challenging in Europe and in cup competitions, the striker has plenty of chances to reach the milestone of 15 and even 20 goals onwards.
