Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers could improve his side’s attack by signing Real Valladolid star Raúl Moro in the winter market.

The winger has four goals and an assist from 19 games this season and has attracted interest from several clubs.

Recent claims from the UK have talked about Celtic tabling a formal offer for the 22-year-old.

This has reached the Spanish press, specifically Estadio Deportivo, who discuss Celtic’s chances of securing his services.

Ajax showed keen interest in the Spaniard but refused to meet the fee requested by the La Liga side and this has allowed Brendan Rodgers’ side to swoop in for him.

Moro initially joined Real Valladolid on loan in 2023 and they made his permanent a year later. His contract lasts until 2028, but the report states he’s ‘more out than in’ at the club. This indicates the attacker’s exit could be on the cards in this window.

The report states Celtic are looking to join the race to sign Moro and ‘intend to reach’ the €10m demanded by Real Valladolid.

Estadio add Celtic’s Luis Palma is getting closer to Rayo Vallecano and his exit could open the door for Moro’s arrival in Glasgow in January. Their plan is to move in to sign Moro since Ajax haven’t been able to match Real Valladolid’s request.

If Brendan Rodgers’ side were to make a €10m bid, they could wrap up the deal for Moro.
