Newcastle United’s Lloyd Kelly emerged as a target for Juventus over the weekend.
The defender, who joined the Magpies in the summer on a free transfer, finds his future uncertain after only a few months at St James' Park.
Juventus' liking for Kelly is front page news in Italy today. Tuttosport, who are local to the Turin club, have looked at efforts to get the 26-year-old, stating that Juve have already moved for the centre-back and put forward an offer.
They offered an initial loan deal with an option to buy, but Newcastle United either want a permanent move or a loan with the obligation to buy for a minimum of €15m.
Whether Juve can reach that amount remains to be seen, but the outlet believe that new contacts between the Bianconeri and Newcastle United will take place soon.
Juventus wanted the Englishman in the summer but he chose to join the Magpies as a free agent following the end of his Bournemouth contract. His early exit could hand Eddie Howe’s side a big profit.
