Next Premier League manager sacked odds: Postecoglou into 13/8 favourite after NLD loss
Today at 05:33 AM
Managerial changes throughout the Premier League season are commonplace and this year is no different with two managers taking charge of new teams in the league this week for the first time.
Four managerial dismissals inside a month just shows no manager is safe when it comes to mounting pressure in the Premier League and Tottenham’s Ange Postecoglou has gone into favourite as Spurs sit 13th in the table following their defeat in the North London Derby.

The pressure has also been on Pep Guardiola and City to bounce back and continue their usual dominance and successive victories.
They’re unbeaten in five matches now having previously gone on a horrid run that now sees them down in sixth place and far off challenging Liverpool for another league title.
As a result, Pep is now 10/1 to be the next to leave as Spurs boss now takes the heat to be next with Everton and West Ham having parted ways with their respective bosses in recent weeks.
There’s been as many as six managers this season already departing the Premier League, with a full list below:
Premier League managers sacked in 2024/25
- Erik ten Hag – Man United, October 28th
- Steve Cooper – Leicester City, November 24th
- Gary O’Neil – Wolves, December 15th
- Russell Martin – Southampton, December 15th
- Julen Lopetegui – West Ham, January 8th
- Sean Dyche – Everton, January 9th
Those dismissals also see more changes in the list of the next manager to go odds, as Southampton boss Ivan Juric and Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy both go into 5/1.
The Saints are bottom with just six points picked up in 20 matches but the pressure doesn’t really seem to be on the side almost expecting relegation, as their sides struggles to contend.
The Foxes have now lost their last six Premier League matches as they also seem to be staring relegation in the face following their promotion last season, though are only two points from safety, albeit having played a game more than most of the teams above them.
Next Premier League Manager To Leave Odds
- Ange Postecoglou – 13/8
- Ivan Juric – 5/1
- Ruud van Nistelrooy – 5/1
- Pep Guardiola – 10/1
- Vitor Pereira – 12/1
- 16/1 BAR

Six sackings already this season means the betting is relatively wide open as things stand as the teams with the most pressure have already pulled the trigger on replacing their managers.
However, if Tottenham start to struggle it wouldn’t be surprising to see Ange go odds-on.
Similarly, Leicester have already replaced their manager with Van Nistelrooy but they have continued to struggle under the Dutch coach, with their winless streak now at six.
