Arsenal have 10 points from a possible 12 so far in the Premier League, but there's still a bit of a feeling that things haven't clicked with the Gunners.

Indeed, Arsenal struggled in the Champions League on Thursday, while it took a set-piece goal for the Gunners to scrape past Tottenham at the weekend, while in the game prior to that, Arsenal drew with Brighton.

Arsenal are a very good team who can blow their opponents away when they’re in full flow, but there are a few changes that could be made to get the Gunners firing again.

Speaking on The Stomping Ground, Troy Deeney has been discussing Arsenal's current team, and he says that there's one player he thinks Mikel Arteta isn't using correctly.

Mikel Arteta isn't using Jurrien Timber correctly

Deeney spoke about Jurrien Timber's role at Arsenal.

The pundit says that he's not convinced by the Dutchman playing at left-back, claiming that he believes he's more of a right-back.

"I still think they needed a striker and I'm still not long-term convinced with Timber at left-back, I think he's naturally a right-back and he's more natural there. You have to look at injuries in the season and Odegaard being out is huge," Deeney said.

Jurrien Timber can play anywhere

Deeney says that Timber isn't a natural left-back, and he's right.

Timber was originally developed as a centre-back at Ajax, but when you have a player who is this talented, he can play in any position.

Timber has taken to that left-back role like a duck to water, and while he may not be your conventional full-back, he's still brilliant in this Arsenal side.

As Martin Keown says, Timber is the real deal.

Mikel Arteta knows what he's doing with his players, and if he's decided that Timber is best utilised as a left-back in this Arsenal team, the manager needs to be trusted.

Arsenal are very lucky to have a player who is as good and as versatile as Timber, that's for sure.
