'Not playing well': Pundit says £8m Arsenal player looks miles off his best at the moment

Arsenal are experiencing a serious dip in form right now.
The Gunners are three without a win in the Premier League, and to make matters even worse, they lost in the Champions League in midweek.
Arsenal's issues right now are easy to diagnose, their attack is simply flat at the moment.
Away from the League Cup, Arsenal have scored just three goals in their last five games, and it's easy to see where the problems lie.
Ian Wright has pointed out an issue with Kai Havertz recently, and speaking on The Game Football Podcast, Tony Cascarino has pointed towards Gabriel Martinelli's form, stating that the Brazilian simply isn't playing well right now.
Gabriel Martinelli isn't playing well
Cascarino shared his verdict on Arsenal's problems.
The pundit says that Martinelli has been off his best for a while.
"I don’t think they’ve got. Look, Martinelli’s not playing well. You know, his form has been pretty off for a while. Saka has been electric for most of the last 18 months. If he has any little dip at all, it really looks ominous for Arsenal."
Martinelli's stats since 2022/23
Cascarino says Martinelli's form has been off for a while, and he's not wrong.
Martinelli was electric two seasons ago, but he really hasn't hit those heights since.

Games | 36 | 45 |

Assists | 5 | 6 |
At the age of 23, you'd expect Martinelli to be kicking on at this point in his career, but, for some reason, over the past two years he's been going backwards in terms of his output.
The Brazilian needs to rediscover his best form soon if Arsenal want to win the league, because, at the moment, the Gunners simply don't have enough firepower.
Darren Bent recently tipped Martinelli to rediscover his best form, but, as of yet, the winger is yet to fulfil the promise he showed at Arsenal a couple of seasons ago.
Fingers crossed Martinelli can find his shooting boots again soon, because Arsenal need to find a fresh spark to re-ignite their title challenge.
