'Not true': Journalist says rumour about Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku is simply false

Christopher Nkunku has been at the centre of a lot of transfer speculation recently.
Nkunku is apparently getting frustrated at Chelsea, and it's not hard to understand why.
Indeed, the attacker isn't getting the minutes he would necessarily want at Chelsea.

A big-name player out of favour at a big club is certainly easy pickings for a transfer rumour or two.
Nkunku's links to Manchester United were shot down this week, and now, speaking on the FC Bayern Insider Podcast, Tobi Altschaffl has played down the links between Nkunku and Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich not interested in Christopher Nkunku
Altschaffl shared what he knows about Nkunku and Bayern Munich.
The journalist says that Nkunku isn't a player of interest to Bayern, but he did leave the door open for a potential summer move.
"Bayern want Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea FC. Is that true or not true?" Altschaffl was asked.
"That’s not true," Altschaffl said.
"Yes, of course we all know that Christopher Nkunku moved from RB Leipzig to Chelsea for 60 million last year, but hasn’t really blossomed there yet. Of course we all know that at Chelsea, there are plenty of top class players running around. So it’s always a bit of a running gag.
"The Chelsea squad, how many high-calibre players there are, and he’s not really getting the role he expected. He’s a bit dissatisfied, even though he’s actually scored quite a few goals, 10 goals in 688 minutes. So his rate is actually good."
"Bayern aren’t interested at the moment, but who knows what could happen in the summer."
Christopher Nkunku's Bundesliga stats
Bayern Munich aren't interested in Nkunku at this moment in time, but it wouldn't be a surprise if they did take a look at the Frenchman at some point.
Indeed, before Nkunku joined Chelsea, he was an absolute hit in the Bundesliga, and a return to Germany could suit all parties.

Nkunku could well be on the move before too long, and it would make sense if he did want to return to Germany and a league where he prospered for so long.
Bayern Munich aren't necessarily lacking attacking talent at the moment, so a move for Nkunku may not be a priority, but if the right opportunity presented itself, don't be shocked if Bayern do indeed decide to make a move for the Chelsea star.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on as Nkunku continues to struggle for minutes at Stamford Bridge.
