PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are prepared to shatter the transfer world-record with a £211MILLION bid for 16-year-old Spanish wonderkid Lamine Yamal.

The Parisian giants on the hunt for a new superstar after losing Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid on a free transfer.

PSG are willing to break their own world record transfer free for Lamine Yamal

Mbappe signed a five-year contract worth £12.8m a year with Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old scored 256 goals in 308 matches at the Parc des Princes and became PSG’s all-time record goalscorer.

But PSG are ready to set the world transfer record alight to sign Barcelona superstar Yamal, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo.

Saudi-owned PSG are willing to hand Barca £211MILLION for Yamal’s signature – an mind-blowing way of breaking the transfer world record.

Incidentally PSG would be smashing their own world record after the club paid Barcelona £198million release clause for Neymar.

Yamal has scored seven goals in 51 games for Barca, and is currently starring for Spain at Euro 2024.

PSG’s reported £169million bid for Yamal in March was immediately rejected by the Catalan giants.

Despite Barcelona‘s ongoing money concerns, the LaLiga side are clear they do not want to sell Yamal under any circumstances.

With the Nou Camp President Joan Laporta referencing the the La Masia product as “untouchable”.

The Spanish giants are suffering from serious mounting debt and reported mismanagement of funds by the board.

Yamal’s Barca contract expires in July 2026, so the Catalan giants are under no immediate pressure to sell.

And with age on his side, Yamal could have the potential to rival Lionel Messi's Nou Camp legacy.

His release clause is set at an eye-watering £900m.

Yamal is also represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes.

He became the youngest-ever player to a feature at a European Championship after starting for Spain against Croatia a fortnight ago.

If Yamal scores during the tournament in Germany, he will break the record for youngest goalscorer at the Euros, set by Johan Vonlanthen for Switzerland in 2004.
