Manchester United are just one of numerous Premier League clubs eyeing Southampton prodigy Tyler Dibling.

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey revealed in December that Manchester United are keen on Dibling, who has made a real name for himself at Southampton this season.

Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion also appreciate the Saints midfielder.

Southampton manager Ivan Juric, speaking ahead of his side’s Premier League meeting with Man United, shared his stance on Dibling’s future.

Ivan Juric issues hands-off warning to Manchester United and other suitors over Tyler Dibling

Juric was first asked by the Daily Echo why he named Dibling as a striker in the FA Cup win over Swansea City at the weekend.

“I think in this moment, he’s better when he plays more forward because he doesn’t have to do too much defensive work,” he replied.

“He’s ready to score, to go one against one. For now, it’s okay for him.”

Juric was then asked what he would say to any Premier League rival currently looking at Dibling.

“No, I think that we have some good players and good players have to stay here,” he said.

Finally, Juric was asked whether he felt Dibling would be better off staying at Southampton.

“Absolutely,” he said. “Because I think he needs to play to get better, to improve and I think for him it’s best to stay here, of course.”

Whether the likes of Manchester United could actually sign Dibling this month

Ben Jacobs reiterated just this week that Man United have a concrete interest in Dibling.

However, the transfer insider doesn’t believe that a move is likely in January.

Jacobs said: "They liked him when Dan Ashworth was there and then Dan Ashworth came across to United, so sometimes those targets migrate.

“I think that is the same by the way with Tyler Dibling at Southampton who is concretely on Manchester United's radar.

“Very early stages, no approach, nothing likely to be possible in January."
