Michael Kayode joined Brentford from Fiorentina last week on an initial loan deal with the option to buy.

The defender didn’t feature for the club in their Premier League game against Crystal Palace but his debut for the Bees won’t be too far away.

Kayode’s agent Claudio Vigorelli has now spoken about the move to Brentford and conveyed his joy about the move.

In a chat with Tuttomercatoweb, Vigorelli said:  “When you bring such a young player to the Premier League it is a reason for satisfaction."

He also spoke about Brentford’s long term interest in the right-back, explaining that the move will bring satisfaction to the 20-year-old and also to Fiorentina.

"Brentford wanted him since the beginning of the summer, I believe it is an operation that will bring satisfaction to Fiorentina and to Michael in the future.

"It is a loan, he will consolidate his performances and will get great satisfaction”

The agent was also asked whether Kayode could return to Italy in the future, considering that the London club have an option to buy him permanently.

He said: “It’s a start, it’s a point of restarting his career, then we’ll see what happens in the next few months."

When asked further about the move, Vigorelli expressed further contentment.

“There is happiness for the new adventure and for these new stimuli in the greatest championship in the world."

The move to the GTech Community Stadium is truly a fresh start for Kayode, largely because of how he was used for only five Serie A games by Fiorentina this season.

This happened despite him playing over 2000 minutes in all competitions last season and establishing himself as an important player.

Brentford will now hope to give the youngster regular game time, and help him develop.
