Arsenal are already planning transfer business for next summer.

The North Londoners had a pretty quiet window but still brought in three quality additions in Mikel Merino, Riccardo Calafiori and Raheem Sterling.

Transfer plans are already being mapped out for next summer and with that said, a midfielder has just been linked to the Emirates as a possible replacement for Thomas Partey.

Saudi Pro League intersted in Thomas Partey

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

Partey is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates and is attracting interest from suitors in Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

The Saudi Public Investment Fund have been in talks with the Ghanian for months as they plan to agree a pre-contract in January to ensure they’re able to secure his signature on a free in the summer.

Juventus were considering Partey but the form of Manuel Locatelli has seen their interest cool.

Arsenal eyeing Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi

Arsenal chief Edu Gaspar is already targeting a replacement for Partey, should he leave, and it’s thought Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi, who’s been labelled ‘world class’ per Rousing The Kop, is on his radar.

Liverpool were trying to sign Zubimendi over the summer but the Spaniard rejected the chance to make the switch to Anfield.

If The Gunners were to go in for him, it’d likely require a bid in the region of £52m.
