Chelsea have two clear strikers targets in mind after opting against a move for Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic this month.
The Blues are keen to land a new number nine at some stage between now and the summer with Enzo Maresca needing to boost the number of goals in his team.
Chelsea have held a long-term interest in Vlahovic, however, despite holding talks with Juventus over a deal for Renato Veiga, they have decided not to follow up on the Serbian.
The West London club have two other attacking options instead and those targets have been revealed.
Chelsea interested in Benjamin Sesko and Liam Delap over Dusan Vlahovic
Chelsea are showing a strong interest in Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, according to GiveMeSport.
Enzo Maresca’s side have decided against making an approach for Dusan Vlahovic despite holding talks with Juventus over deals for Axel Disasi and Renato Veiga.
The Italian manager will be well aware of Delap with the pair having worked together at Man City and Chelsea are currently considered as the frontrunners to sign him.
However, Ipswich are unwilling to sell him in January and his former club City have a buyback option on him, although they have shown no intention of taking that up at this stage.
Chelsea will face strong competition for Sesko from Arsenal and Manchester United, with the Slovakian international having been on the Gunners’ radar for quite some time.
Who would be a better signing for Chelsea: Benjamin Sesko or Liam Delap?
Sesko and Delap are both having strong domestic seasons and it’s no wonder the pair have attracted strong interest from around Europe.

Both strikers have eight league goals this term in the Premier League and Bundesliga respectively and Chelsea will need to weigh up which option would be better.
Sesko and Delap are both young options at just 21 and could cover the striker spot at Stamford Bridge for years to come.
