Everton haven't had the best of times in recent transfer windows but with a move to a new stadium coming in 2025, the Toffees are looking to add some exciting new talent to light up Bramley Dock.

Sean Dyche is battling hard to keep Everton in the Premier League once again as inconsistencies and a lack of goals once again plague his team.

Naturally, Dyche is looking to add more quality to his squad but with Everton in the midst of a potential takeover, he's having to look far and wide for options.

And according to CaughtOffside, Everton's search has taken them to Brazil.

Everton keen on Brazilian winger Luiz Henrique

According to the report from CaughtOffside, Everton are one of a number of English teams who are keen on adding Henrique to the ranks.

Henrique has emerged as one of the best talents in Brazil and has already got himself five caps for the Selecao.

The 23-year-old being looked at by Everton, Fulham and Crystal Palace, who have all apparently sent scouts over to Botafogo to watch the winger.

Indeed, it's claimed that Premier League scouts are impressed with what they've seen from Henrique and are now considering whether or not to encourage a January move.

Henrique would follow a host of young Brazilians moving to Europe in recent years, with the likes of Endrick, Kayky, and Luis Guilherme all making high profile moves to England or Spain.

Everton need goals

Sean Dyche did well last season to pull Everton out of the mire but with the likes of Burnley and Sheffield United stinking the league out, their task was made easier.

This season, things look a touch harder as the likes of Ipswich and Leicester look to be making more of a fist of things, while even Southampton have finally picked up a win.

Put simply, Everton need more goals. They've only managed ten all season in the league, with only Southampton and Crystal Palace scoring less.

A player like Henrique, then, could give the Toffees a late season boost if he can be convinced to come over.
