Newcastle United are already eyeing targets for the January transfer window.

TBR Football ran a story this morning about Newcastle’s interest in Atalanta midfielder Ederson, who is also being watched by Manchester United.

The Brazil international is admired by club chiefs but it will take a bid of around £50m for the Italian club to sanction his sale.

Another link has emerged today and this time, it’s an attacker that’s being targeted by Newcastle.

Newcastle tracking Sindre Walle Egeli

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United are tracking Nordsjaelland wonderkid Sindre Walle Egeli, who has been likened to Erling Haaland.

The left-footed winger only celebrated his 18th birthday in June but has already made his international debut for Norway.

Egeli has registered four goal involvements in eight outings so far this season and there’s thought to be widespread interest in him from across the continent.

So, Newcastle will certainly have to beat stiff competition for his signature.

Sindre Walle Egeli price tag

Sindre Walle Egeli is expected to cost in the region of £21m as Nordsjaelland are keen to demand a club-record fee for his signature.

That may put the Magpies off as evidently that’d be a big risk to take, especially mid-season when incomings are brought in to make an immediate impact.

Though, could it be an opportunity to good to pass up?

After all, Egeli has been tipped to become ‘world class’ per Passion4FM, so they won’t want to risk missing out on a future star.
