Middlesbrough will hold out for in excess of £15million for West Ham target Emmanuel Latte Lath, sources have told Football Insider.
The Ivory Coast international, 26, is wanted by the Irons, Ipswich Town and Leicester City in the January transfer window.
Latte Lath has established himself as a regular Championship scorer since arriving at Middlesbrough from Atalanta 18 months ago.
The player and his agent have made no secret of his desire to play Premier League football after his move to England in 2023.
However, Middlesbrough are in a strong position with the striker under contract until June 2027 with a further option for an additional 12 months.
Boro will demand a big fee of at least £15million for Latte Lath – who is key to their promotion aspirations this season.
Ipswich approached the north-east club over a potential move for the 26-year-old during the off-season but were unsuccessful.

West Ham and Leicester have now joined the race for his signature as they look to improve their respective strikeforces in the January window.
Latte Lath has scored 10 goals and notched two assists in 27 appearances across all competitions this term.
He scored 18 in 36 in the 2023-24 campaign – his first in English football.
West Ham, who are without long-serving striker Michail Antonio after his car accident last month, sit 14th in the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, Leicester and Ipswich are embroiled in a relegation battle and sit 19th and 18th respectively.
