Ronaldinho has something of an interesting history with Chelsea Football Club.

The Brazilian scored a famous goal against the Blues back in 2005 as he toe-poked the ball past Petr Cech from range, while he once admitted, via The Express, that Chelsea tried to sign him.

"Chelsea tried to take me there once, and some other teams were interested in signing me," Ronaldinho said.

“The league there is so fast and so intense all of the time – it's great to watch and not boring at all.

“I don't tend to watch all 90 minutes of Premier League games, but I will see more of the highlights and the goals in the Premier League than I see of other leagues around the world.”

Now, speaking to EA Sports on TikTok, Ronaldinho has reserved some special praise for one of Chelsea's greatest players.

The Ballon d'Or winner was ranking some of world football's greats as a part of a promotional video for the new FC 25 video game, and he picked Eden Hazard at the top of his list ahead of legends such as Jaap Stam, Guti and Ze Roberto.

Ronaldinho hails Eden Hazard

The Brazilian put Hazard at the top of his list as he ranked some of world football's greats.

Hazard was unbelievable at Chelsea, winning two PFA Player of the Year awards, and winning the Premier League twice as well.

Unfortunately Hazard couldn't win the Champions League with the Blues, but he still goes down in history as one of the best players to ever turn out for the west London club.

How good was Eden Hazard?

Ronaldinho ranks Hazard as one of the game's all-time greats, and he's not too far wrong.

It's been a while since Hazard was in his prime, but we mustn't forget just how brilliant the Belgian was.

Hazard's stats at Chelsea were immense, but the scary thing is that the numbers don't do him justice.

Hazard was one of the game's great attacking creators, he could unlock a defence with the smallest of movements, and that didn't always reflect in terms of goals and assists.

Heung-Min Son recently said that Hazard was one of the best players ever, while Scott McTominay named Hazard as his greatest ever opponent.

To receive praise from Ronaldinho, you have to be a very special player, and that's exactly what Hazard was.
