Bournemouth have made a permanent move for Kepa Arrizabalaga their number-one target ahead of the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

However, any deal will depend on whether the 30-year-old is willing to accept a wage cut and if Chelsea will accept an agreeable fee.

The Blues are open to offers for the Spain international this summer, but are unlikely to consider low-ball offers as they aim to raise funds from his sale.

The goalkeeper is not a part of Enzo Maresca’s plans for the future and would fall behind Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen in the pecking order upon his return from loan.

Kepa, meanwhile, is keen to continue playing regular first-team football and would welcome the chance to discuss terms over a permanent move away from Chelsea.

Kepa wants to stay at Bournemouth after Chelsea exit latest

Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider earlier this month that Kepa wants to stay at Bournemouth and is happy playing under Andoni Iraola.

Since joining the Cherries on loan last summer, he has started 22 of their 29 Premier League games and established himself as a crucial part of their first-team plans.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, remain hopeful of European qualification as they currently sit tenth in the league, just four points short of the Champions League places.

Qualification would provide a significant boost to their finances and make a permanent deal for Kepa more likely, while they are also planning to strengthen elsewhere.

Football Insider revealed on 19 March that Bournemouth want to sign Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge to bolster their defense.

Milos Kerkez tells friends he wants to join Liverpool

A number of Bournemouth’s star players have been linked with moves away this summer, including Antoine Semenyo and Dean Huijsen.

Football Insider exclusively revealed on 24 March that Milos Kerkez wants to join Liverpool and has informed friends of his decision ahead of the transfer window.

Arne Slot has identified Kerkez as his top target at left-back, while Liverpool are also considering Fulham star Antonee Robinson as a potential alternative.

The Bournemouth star has established himself as one of the most highly-rated left-backs in the Premier League and has started all 29 of Bournemouth's games this season.
