Southampton fans were left furious with Aaron Ramsdale's performance against Nottingham Forest after the goalkeeper made an embarrassing mistake.
The Saints suffered a 3-2 loss on Sunday (19 January) which left the club bottom of the Premier League.
The game almost finished 4-2 after Forest found the back of the net, but the offside flag stopped that from taking place.
That decision saved Ramsdale's blushes as he dropped the ball into his own net after it was headed directly to him.
It continued Southampton's dismal first half of the season, with the club having only won a single match.
The defensive side of their game has been a significant factor in that, with the Saints having conceded 50 goals already in this campaign.

Ramsdale's mistake didn't prove costly, but it highlighted an issue that Southampton fans already have of him.
The supporters claimed he "can't handle the pressure of the PL," while others claimed the moment was "truly calamitous."
