Tottenham director of football Johan Lange may be missing Copenhagen, with a recent purchase of a mansion in the city leading to speculation.

Ekstra Bladet provide the information today, explaining that Lange has recently bought an expensive villa in Amager.

This has raised some eyebrows as he is currently enjoying plenty of success in England with Tottenham, where he has been technical director since November 2023.

He's actually been in England since 2020, though, having initially joined Aston Villa as their sporting director and then global sports director before moving to London with Tottenham.

It seems he still has one eye on his homeland, though, with a recent purchase of a super-mansion catching attention. He's paid 14.5m Danish Krone (about £1.6m) for the home, which spans 200 square metres, has eight rooms, two toilets, and two floors to 'romp around on'.

It's unclear why he's purchased the house, but the newspaper do speculate he could miss being close to his old club FC Copenhagen and this purchase will allow him to be fix that.

He spent ten years at the club over several years and in several positions before moving to England in 2020 with Villa.

Now he's bought a house close by, leading some, at least at Ekstra Bladet, to think that he may be missing his old club.
