The six Premier League players banned from this weekend's action, including Tottenham and West Ham stars

Premier League football is well and truly back after another draining, dull international break.
The return of England’s top-flight saw Tottenham record a shock 4-0 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, and an impressive display from Ipswich as the Tractor Boys held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw in Ruben Amorim’s first match.
There will now be seven rounds of Premier League fixtures until 2025 begins – although six players will have to sit out of the coming weekend’s games after picking up bans.
Mohammed Kudus and Rodrigo Bentancur among six suspended Premier League stars
Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Tottenham and West Ham will all be without key players for this weekend’s round of fixtures, for various reasons.
Carlos Baleba will be missing for the Seagulls after picking up two yellow cards in last week’s 2-1 win over Bournemouth, a game in which Antoine Semenyo, who Newcastle admire, also received his fifth yellow card of the campaign, landing him a one-match ban.
Players who receive a total of five yellow cards in their first 19 matches will be given a one-match suspension.

In regards to Crystal Palace, Daichi Kamada will serve the second of his three-match ban for a straight red card picked up in the 2-0 defeat against Fulham before the international break.
Brentford also have a three-match ban to deal with, after Christian Norgaard was handed a straight red card for a lunge on Jordan Pickford in the 0-0 draw at Goodison Park last week.
West Ham and Tottenham find themselves in slightly different situations, with an independent Regulatory Commission stepping in to ban Mohammed Kudus, who Arsenal want to sign, for a further two games following his serving of a three-match suspension.
It was felt the Ghana international had acted in an “improper manner and/or used violent conduct” following his initial straight red card offence in West Ham’s 4-1 defeat against Tottenham.
Spurs themselves have the largest ban of all six to deal with, after Rodrigo Bentancur got himself suspended for seven games for an aggravated breach of FA Rule E3, having made a controversial comment about Heung-min Son.
Tottenham have – however – appealed the length of the Uruguay international’s ban.
