Tottenham Hotspur are set to kick off their Europa League campaign against Qarabag on Thursday.

Ange Postecoglou has the chance to mix things up in the Europa League this Thursday, with a number of youngsters waiting in line for minutes.

The Spurs boss has already said that he loves watching a number of youngsters, including the likes of Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear, Wilson Odobert, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall.

Bergvall and Gray were praised for their performances against Coventry City, so perhaps those two will be turned to against Qarabag.

Now, it appears as if there may be another youngster in the fold for the Europa League clash after spotting an absentee in the Under-21 squad.

Tottenham teen sensation left out of Under-21 squad vs Exeter City

Tottenham Hotspur have switched their policy to buying and developing younger players over the past couple of seasons.

Dominic Solanke was the oldest signing of the summer at 26.

Interestingly, it looks as if Mikey Moore is set to be in the first-team squad once again for the Qarabag clash, as he was left out of the Spurs Under-21 squad to face Exeter on Wednesday.

The Spurs academy account announced the squad on X.

Who is Mikey Moore?

Mikey Moore is one of the most promising talents in the Spurs academy right now.

The 17-year-old featured for two minutes against Brentford at the weekend, which shows the trust Ange Postecoglou already has in him.

He scored one goal and assisted two against Bristol Rovers in his last outing in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, and it appears as if he may be set for a permanent first-team role moving forward.

Operating as a left winger or an attacking midfielder, Moore has the versatility to be a useful addition to Postecoglou’s squad for more matchdays moving forward, but you don’t want to overdo it with him.
