Arsenal have a knack of signing players who should easily embed into the squad.

Jorginho and Kai Havertz were already friends when Havertz arrived at the club, while Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus knew each other and Mikel Arteta well from their time at Manchester City.

Raheem Sterling joined Arsenal with an almost perfect set of circumstances.

Sterling already knew Zinchenko, Jesus and Arteta from his time at Manchester City, while he worked with Kai Havertz and Jorginho at Chelsea, as well as several players from England duty.

Unfortunately, Sterling hasn't hit the ground running at Arsenal, but speaking to Pro Direct Soccer, Oleksandr Zinchenko has backed the winger to thrive.

Oleksandr Zinchenko shares Raheem Sterling verdict

Zinchenko shared his verdict on what Sterling can add to this team.

The Ukrainian knows Sterling well from his time at City, and he says that the attacker has the ability to be unstoppable when he finds his best form.

"Raheem Sterling has been added to the team now, what do you think he can add?” Zinchenko was asked.

"He's the guy who can always make the difference, the impact he can can have for any team around the world is amazing honestly. I know him well and the skills and the desire, when he wants to on his day, he's unstoppable,” Zinchenko said.

Raheem Sterling stats this season

Sterling hasn't been at his brilliant best for Arsenal so far this term, and the stats reflect that fact.

Sterling simply isn't playing enough for Arsenal to make that much of an impact right now, and when he does play, he's not exactly pulling up any trees.

Sterling was seen as a great signing on deadline day, but, as of yet, he hasn't shown much for his new club.

The winger has shown in the past that he has the talent to make a difference in a Premier League title race, but, so far, he hasn't convinced Mikel Arteta that he should be his go-to attacking option.

Arteta is a fan of Sterling, but he’s not found a place for him in his team just yet.

It's still early days as we're only 11 games into the Premier League season, but Stering will surely want to get more minutes
