Wayne Rooney shown red card as he fumes during Plymouth win over Blackburn

Plymouth Argyle secured a dramatic late winner over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday but manager Wayne Rooney wasn’t in the dugout to see it after being shown a red card.
Michael Obafemi gave Plymouth an early lead at Home Park which they held onto all the way until the 86th minute.
Joe Rankin-Costello equalised for Blackburn but the Plymouth bench were fuming as they felt there was a foul in the build-up. Rooney led the protests and went too far, sent off for dissent.
That was not the end of the drama as deep into injury time the home side pinched a winner as Morgan Whittaker scored in the 97th minute to secure three points.
It is Plymouth’s third straight home win in the Championship after beating Sunderland and Luton in their last two outings in front of their own fans.
The victory over the Black Cats also came in stoppage time as a 93rd minute goal from Joe Edwards secured a 3-2 win last month.
The victory sees the Pilgrims climb to 14th in the Championship table, with Rooney improving on a slow start to his stint in charge.
The England and Manchester United hero picked up eight red cards during his epic playing career, so is no stranger to receiving his marching orders.
He was shown red three times for the Red Devils, twice for England, twice more for DC United and once for Everton.
