"We hardly spoke" – Player pinpoints David Moyes for West Ham difficulties

Former West Ham United midfielder Alex Král joined Espanyol from Union Berlin on a loan deal in the summer window.
Thursday's edition of Mundo Deportivo has published an interview with the 26-year-old. They talked about his career, including his time at West Ham.
Král joined West Ham on a loan deal from Spartak Moscow during the 2021/22 season, when David Moyes was then in charge at the club.
The Czech Republic international was restricted to 256 minutes of action from six games in all competitions for the Hammers. This includes a minute's action in the Premier League.
Mundo pointed out to the player that he struggled for a prominent role at the London club. When asked to explain what went wrong at West Ham, he didn't hold back when criticising Moyes.
The former Spartak Moscow man wasn't pleased with Moyes' approach at West Ham.
"It’s difficult to say, because I never got an explanation from the coach [Moyes]. But it’s something I’ve already forgotten," he said.
"I can’t say we had a bad relationship, it was simply non-existent. We hardly spoke. When I asked him what was wrong, he said nothing was wrong. I also have to say that the results when I was there were very good, so there was no reason to change anything either."
The Premier League side parted ways with Moyes at the end of last season and appointed Julen Lopetegui as his successor. The Hammers have collected four points from four league games this season.
Meanwhile, Král has made five league appearances for the La Liga side so far.
