A couple of days ago, it was reported that West Ham’s Maxwel Cornet was set to head out to Genoa.
The winger, who is on loan at Southampton, will have his stint at St Mary’s cut short ahead of a move to Italy.
More has emerged on the Ivorian’s future today, with Gianluca Di Marzio releasing a video of the 28-year-old arriving in Italy ahead of his move to Genoa.
The journalist reports Cornet is now undergoing his medical with Genoa and will sign a contract with the club later today.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported similar and he states the ex-Lyon man will head to the Rossoblu on a dry loan deal, which means West Ham will have Cornet back in the summer.
The winger has failed to make a mark at the London club, playing only 37 times since his arrival in 2022.
Not just at West Ham, Cornet has also struggled at Southampton, where he has played only four times in all competitions this season.
