Raheem Sterling has been ranking some of who he believes are the fastest players at Arsenal.

Gabriel Martinelli recently named Kieran Tierney as the fastest player at the club, while Jurrien Timber believes Martinelli himself is the fastest player at Arsenal.

Taking part in a challenge organised by StatSports, Raheem Sterling has been ranking who he believes are the 10 fastest Arsenal players this season.

The winger was, by-and-large, correct with his guesses, but he was left surprised by one player's lack of speed.

Indeed, Sterling was stunned to find out that according to the official statistics, Declan Rice was actually slower than Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Sterling was stunned after learning that Rice's top speed was lower than Zinchenko's.

This is a surprise. After all, Rice does cover ground very well.

In fact, Jack Grealish recently praised Rice for his running ability, but the stats show that he's actually not that quick.

"Declan Rice is at number 10," The host said when revealing Arsenal's fastest players.

"What? He's slower than Zinchenko? Nah, nah," Sterling said.

"How do you think you would hold your own Raheem?" Sterling was asked.

"Basically, if we had a race in a couple of weeks I would smoke everyone, I'll train the legs and power up," Sterling said.

Who are Arsenal's fastest players?

Declan Rice finished 10th on the list of Arsenal's fastest players, but who else made up the top 10?

Well, according to the data shared in this video, the fastest player at Arsenal is actually Ben White.

The 10 fastest players at ArsenalTop speed (km/h)
Ben White36.36
Bukayo Saka36.32
Gabriel Martinelli36.03
William Saliba35.56
Raheem Sterling35.43
Jakub Kiwior35.31
Martin Odegaard34.92
Riccardo Calafiori34.56
Oleksandr Zinchenko34.2
Declan Rice33.94

It's surprising to hear that White is the fastest player at Arsenal. After all, you don't necessarily associate him with incredible speed.

Gabriel Martinelli is often praised for his pace, but he placed third behind Bukayo Saka here.

Of course, there's a difference between top speed and explosiveness, and White is more likely to go on those 30/40 yard recovery runs where you can really open your legs up due to his position, whereas Martinelli does a lot of movement on the ball or holding his run to break the offside trap.

It would certainly be interesting to see how a race between all of these players would go, because, as Sterling says, he would fancy himself to come out on top.
