Strikingly, Jesus has not scored all season for Arsenal in the league until today and unsurprisingly, it’s coincided with a huge win.

Overall, though, the last 18 months have been an issue for Jesus and Arsenal. He scored just four Premier League goals last season – all in wins – and has taken until December this time around to get off the mark.

Put simply, Jesus has to do better and that starts by staying fit and contributing.
