Manchester United welcome Leicester City this weekend in the Premier League, but supporters won’t be able to watch on TV.

This is set to be Ruud van Nistelrooy‘s final match as interim boss before Ruben Amorim is officially appointed on Monday.

Van Nistelrooy stepped up from assistant manager to replace Erik ten Hag when the Red Devils finally decided to let him go.

He is so far unbeaten and will hope to continue that against a team he’s already tasted success against.

His first match in charge was against the Foxes at Old Trafford, and they won 5-2 in the Carabao Cup.

However, the only British-based fans who will be able to watch the match live will be those at Old Trafford.

Why is Man United vs Leicester not on TV?

This Premier League clash hasn’t been selected for broadcast.

The fixture is set for Sunday, November 10 and kick-off at Old Trafford is scheduled for 2pm.

This match was initially meant to take place on Saturday at 3pm, but it was moved due to United’s European commitments.

The Red Devils are playing in the Europa League this season, meaning Thursday night games.

As a result, Premier League matches have to be moved to Sundays or Mondays to allow for sufficient recovery time.

So because it wasn’t selected for TV coverage initially, it can’t be picked up now.

Instead, Sky Sports are set to screen Nottingham Forest’s home game against Newcastle at 2pm.

They are then showing Chelsea vs Arsenal at 4:30pm.

This means United and Leicester fans won’t be able to watch their teams in action this weekend.

Instead, supporters will be able to catch the highlights on Match of the Day 2 at 10:30pm on Sunday evening.

Sky Sports will also release a short selection of highlights just after the final whistle.

talkSPORT will have updates from east London throughout the afternoon, and talkSPORT.com will also have the action via our dedicated Premier League blog.
