According to a claim in the Turkish media, Abdülkadir Ömür is on the verge of leaving Hull City.
In recent weeks the player's agent has reportedly been trying to find him a Super Lig club, and it now seems Besiktas will offer the 24-year-old the opportunity his representative has been looking for.
Aksam today report on the latest developments regarding Ömür’s future with Hull City and they say Besiktas are looking to get a deal over the line before the transfer deadline. Super Lig clubs have until February 11th to bring in new players.
The Turkish media outlet say Besiktas manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær has given his approval to bring in the Turkey international as he looks to bolster his attacking options in this window.
An agreement with Hull City is said to be close and it’s explained Ömür has been offered a three-year contract by the Istanbul giants. The attacking midfielder is said to be keen to return to the Super Lig following his difficulties in England this season.
Ömür has made 21 appearances for Hull City this season, but has yet to score. He's contracted to the Championship side until June 2027.
