It's been an interesting season so far...

While there is so much of the 2024-25 Serie A season left from now until the springtime, Juventus players have scored some beautiful goals already.

Courtesy of eight players, a total of 17 goals — plus what counted as an own goal but belonged to Khephren Thuram — have solidified Juventus' spot in the top six of the table in Thiago Motta's opening 2 12 months as manager in Turin. Averaging roughly two goals per match, it seems the era of 1-0 corto muso matches has come to somewhat of a close.

Additionally, Juventus remain one of only three clubs across the top five leagues in Europe to not lose a domestic match so far, alongside Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

Unsurprisingly, Dusan Vlahovic has been the catalyst in a large number of those goals, representing roughly 35% of the total goals scored to date. However, brilliant goals have been scored by both expected and unlikely players, such as Weston McKennie against Parma as well as two goals from Next Gen graduate Nicolo Savona.

While there are surely many opportunities for the Bianconeri to find the back of the net in the coming months, let's look back at some of the best goals by player after eleven matches.

Dusan Vlahovic (6 goals)

When it comes to a striker, it is difficult to pick a single goal out of so many, and Vlahovic is no exception. He has scored his six goals in four total matches — against Hellas Verona, Genoa, Cagliari and, most recently, arch-rival Inter Milan.

While there is no argument that the McKennie-assisted goal to level the score at 1-1 during the Derby d'Italia was an important one, it was in the early-season against Hellas Verona that takes the title of Vlahovic's best goal so far. With an assist from Kenan Yildiz, Vlahovic took possession with three Hellas Verona players around him and sunk the ball into the center of the net, sending those blue-clad players defending him down to the ground like bowling pins.

Timothy Weah (3 goals)

The New York-born winger has been a regular part of Thiago Motta's new Juventus and is starting to show to be a good signing after playing as a wingback under Max Allegri last season. This unlikely hero is well known for his speed, but has also scored crucial goals this season. Similar to Vlahovic, Weah's most important goal came in the Derby d'Italia, as he was able to convert a short cross that passed through the Inter 6-yard box that briefly gave Juventus the lead.

However, Weah's goal against Como in the season opener came in the form of a sweeping symphony of passes. Yildiz crossed from the wing to the center of the box, and knowing that his position and angle were too awkward to score, Vlahovic faked out the Como defense, allowing the ball to roll through his legs to Weah. Despite clearly being injured at the time, Weah's left-footed shot crossed the goal line, only to bounce out and cause a couple of seconds of panic before the goal was made official.

Kenan Yildiz (2 goals)

Arguably the most difficult of goals to choose from, as both came in key moments against an Inter side that had taken 4-2 lead in the Debry. After Yildiz was subbed on in the second half, he became Juve's turning point of the match, which resulted in a 4-4 draw. His first goal came from a pass from McKennie near the halfway line, as Yildiz barreled down the left channel as three Inter players tried to converge on him. The 19-year-old "starboy" took a left-footed shot that screamed past Inter keeper Yann Sommer, and found a home in the bottom right corner of the net.

This goal became the start of Juventus' second-half comeback, with Motta's squad realizing that they may be able to even the score. This time, a cross from newcomer Francisco Conceição sailed over both Juventus and Inter players after it was not fully cleared, only to find the foot of Yildiz. He calmly controlled the ball, wound up, and took another left-footed shot that again got past Sommer, effectively saving Juve from utter disappointment.

Nicolo Savona (2 goals)

The 21-year-old fullback has quickly made a name for himself on this much-changed Juventus squad. Savona's best goal came in the late-August win over Hellas Verona. During a well-timed cross that seemed to go over everyone's head, Savona weaved his way to the right side of the box, heading the ball barely over the line, causing a swarm of Verona bodies to rush the left side of the goal to no avail. Unsure if it had passed the line, Vlahovic cheekily attempted to head the ball in, but this ultimately proved unnecessary, as Savona's first goal with the senior team was put in the books.

Players with one goal

Andrea Cambiaso

Cambiaso found the back of the net in a screaming shot from outside the box during the game against Como as they entered the first second of injury time, adding insult to injury to the Men of the Lake's first match of the season back in Serie A.

Weston McKennie

McKennie was strong In Juventus' draw against Parma, scoring his first goal in over a year. it took a right-footed cross from countryman Weah, who perfectly found the head of McKennie. For the first time in a long time, we saw McKennie perform his trademark Harry Potter magic wand celebration.

Francisco Conceição

This Portuguese winger, on loan from Porto, has been quite impressive this season. He scored the third and final goal of the match against Genoa, a left footed shot from very close to the penalty marker that came from a Kephren Thuram assist.

Samuel Mbangula

The Belgian Next Gen and Primavera alum was eager to prove himself to new manager Thiago Motta at the start of the 2024-2025 campaign, and that is exactly what he did. During the Como match, a long pass from Timothy Weah found the feet of Mbangula, who made his way just inside the box, and found the bottom right corner of the net in Juventus' first goal of the new campaign.
