Stoke City saw coach Chris Cohen depart upon Steven Schumacher’s exit and now, the 37-year-old has returned to the Lincoln City backroom team.

Stoke City have made a move to hire Cohen in the summer, bringing him in from Lincoln City to add him to Steven Schumacher’s coaching staff at the Bet365 Stadium.

The 37-year-old hadn’t been with the Imps long. He joined Michael Skubala and co at Sincil Bank in January after previously working with Nathan Jones at both Luton Town and Southampton.

In September though, Cohen was on the move again. As the Potters relieved Schumacher of his duties and hired Narcis Pelach in his place, the former Nottingham Forest midfielder was on the way out too.

Now though, after his Stoke City exit, Cohen has returned to familiar surroundings.

As announced on the League One club’s official website, Lincoln City have brought him back into the setup. Cohen has been aiding the Imps in their preparation for the Monday night clash against Chesham United in the FA Cup as he settles back into life with the club.
