Wrexham face Lincoln City on Tuesday night as two League One promotion hopefuls clash under the floodlights in North Wales.
Wrexham come into their midweek clash against Lincoln City off the back of an impressive victory over Gary Caldwell’s Exeter City on Saturday afternoon.
Goals from Max Cleworth and Ollie Palmer put the Red Dragons in control in the first half before Oliver Rathbone wrapped up the 3-0 triumph in the second half. The win sees the Welsh outfit rise to 2nd in the League One table.
Phil Parkinson’s side are chasing a historic third consecutive promotion but are sure to face strong competition from Wycombe Wanderers, Stockport County and Birmingham City.
As for Lincoln City, they’ll be looking to bounce back to winning ways against Wrexham are losing to leaders Wycombe at the weekend.
The defeat sees the Imps slip out of the play-offs and into 7th, but it’s still been an impressive campaign to date. It was their first defeat in four and just the second loss at Sincil Bank in the last seven games.
Michael Skubala’s side have won just one of their last six League One away matches, but they have drawn four of those.

“The Racecourse Ground remains a fortress and with Lincoln City struggling for form a little bit, I am leaning towards a Wrexham win.
“Exeter are a tough side and the Red Dragons made pretty light work of them. Frankly, they can do that to any side on home turf, though I’m confident the Imps will provide a sterner test than they were given at the weekend.
“Don’t rule out a draw but I’ll back the hosts to win 2-1. It would be another impressive win for them and it should help them continue their march for promotion to Championship football.”

“Wrexham bounced back from their loss away at Stockport County with their 3-0 victory over Exeter City.
“On their day, they are capable of beating anyone and they will fancy their chances of getting another three points in this one. They have adapted well to life in League One following their League Two promotion.
“Lincoln City are on the brink of the play-offs but were left disappointed over the weekend after losing 3-2 to high flying Wycombe Wanderers.
“The Imps haven’t won in their last three matches and I can see them slumping to a loss at the Racecourse Ground.”
