Birmingham City defender Dion Sanderson is back in full training, as detailed in a report by BirminghamLive.

Birmingham City’s centre-back has been out of action over recent times with a foot injury. However, he is now back out on the grass with his teammates as he looks to force his way into Chris Davies’ plans.

Sanderson, 24, was part of the Blues’ side who were relegated from the Championship last season and he has been with the Midlands outfit since joining them on an initial loan deal in 2022 which was later made permanent. His contract at St Andrew’s expires in June 2027.

In this latest update regarding his condition, BirminghamLive report he is back training. He has played twice so far in this campaign, once in League One and the other in the Carabao Cup.

He faces a battle to get into the team though ahead of the likes of Christoph Klarer, Krystian Bielik and Ben Davies.
