Blackpool boss Steve Bruce has saidIpswich Town loanee Elkan Baggott may be out for the ‘next month or so’ still.

Blackpool swooped to land the centre-back on a temporary basis over the summer to bolster their defensive department. He has missed their last four games due to injury.

Baggott, 21, has hurt his ankle and is currently recovering as he looks to get back out on the pitch for the League One side. He has played three times for the Seasiders in the league since joining them.

In this latest update regarding his condition, their manager Bruce has said, as per the Blackpool Gazette (via East Anglian Daily Times): “He’s still in a boot at the moment. He’ll be in it for another week, and then there’s his rehabilitation, so I don’t think we’ll see him for the next month or so. It’s frustrating and disappointing for the player himself.”
