Bradford City bid farewell to Kevin McDonald in August and now, the midfielder has returned to former club Exeter City.
Bradford City only had veteran midfielder Kevin McDonald on the books for a year.
The Scot joined in the summer of 2023 after his departure from Exeter City and played 23 times for the Bantams across all competitions, chipping in with three assists in the process. McDonald even spent eight games in charge as caretaker boss at Valley Parade, overseeing four wins, one draw and three losses after the sacking of Mark Hughes.
McDonald would leave the League Two club at the end of August, and he has remained out of the game since. That is until now though, with the midfielder returning to familiar surroundings.
After his Bradford City exit, League One side Exeter City have moved to bring the former Fulham and Sheffield United man back for a second stint.
McDonald has been training with the Grecians for a few months leading up to the signing of his short-term contract. He will play a role in mentoring upcoming youngsters at St. James Park alongside his playing responsibilities, it has also been confirmed by the player.
