Blackburn Rovers man expected to head out the exit door

Blackburn Rovers defender Kyle McFadzean is expected to leave with Chesterfield leading the race for his services, according to a report by the Lancashire Telegraph.
Blackburn Rovers are set to cut ties with the centre-back before the end of the January transfer window. His contract at Ewood Park expires at the end of the season and he is due to become a free agent in June as things stand.
McFadzean, 37, has made three appearances in all competitions for John Eustace’s side so far in this campaign, one of which has come in the league. The Lancashire outfit are currently sat in 7th place in the Championship table and are a point off the play-offs.
In this latest update, the Lancashire Telegraph report that their defender is poised to depart. Chesterfield are keen as they look to gain promotion from League Two under the guidance of former Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic boss Paul Cook.
