The defender has played 18 times in the Premier League and he is now into his third season at the King Power.
The Belgian has been linked with a move to Lazio in recent days and more has now emerged about the Roman club’s chase of the 26-year-old.
Il Messaggero, as relayed by NoiBiancocelesti, have reported that an offer has already been put forward to Leicester City for Faes.
The Italian side have offered an initial loan deal with an option to buy the centre-back permanently. They are facing technical issues with the squad right now and that is why an offer of this type has been made.
The feeling is that it would be very difficult to convince Leicester City with a move like that, but another attempt can be made in the summer transfer window.
Similar is reported by Corriere dello Sport, who state that Faes is seen as an opportunity by Lazio but there are big doubts about whether a January move is possible or not.
