Nottingham Forest and Leicester City are after FC Dallas star Petar Musa, according to a report.

The striker spent over 18 months at Benfica before joining the American club in the winter 2024 market and has impressed since then. To put it in context, he’s scored 17 goals and registered three assists from 34 games last year.

Musa’s fine displays for the MLS side have caught the attention of Nottingham Forest and Leicester City.

That’s at least what journalist Rudy Galetti is reporting, and he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide the latest on the Premier League duo.

Two days ago, he stated a few English clubs have made an approach for the Croatian and didn’t provide their details. In another post on Wednesday, the journalist said the Reds and Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side are the clubs to have made contacts to ask about Musa.

The frontman’s contract lasts until December 2027, with an option for another year, and Galetti states FC Dallas are open to ‘evaluating offers’ of over €18m.

Nottingham Forest and Leicester need to decide whether to meet FC Dallas’ demand to sign Musa.

This claim isn’t backed up or denied by others and it’ll be interesting to see how the English press reacts to it.
