According to L’Équipe journalist Loïc Tanzi, AC Milan have submitted their first offer to sign Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker (34) in the winter transfer window. It is unknown whether the Premier League champions have responded to the offer submitted by the Serie A outfit.

On the player side, negotiations have been progressing well between the Milanese club and the England international to a point where personal terms have been reported to be agreed. Walker has informed Pep Guardiola that he wants to leave the Etihad this winter and a move to Milan now appears to be his priority.

Rashford pursuit ends

With a deal to sign Walker advancing, Milan have now ended their pursuit to sign Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford (27) in the January transfer window. Rules in the Italian top-flight indicate that a club can only register one British player a season and that appears to be the 34-year-old.
