According to Florian Plettenberg, Chelsea attacking midfielder Christopher Nkunku (27) has agreed personal terms to join Bayern Munich. The France international wants to return to Germany after failing to cement a starting place at Stamford Bridge.
Despite an agreement being reached between the player and the club, negotiations are still ongoing between Bayern Munich and Chelsea for the 27-year-old. The Premier League outfit have set an asking price of €70m to allow the Frenchman to leave the club, Fabrizio Romano understands.
With Mathys Tel reaffirming his desire to stay in Munich, a deal could be harder to reach for the Bundesliga giants due to the finances requested by the Blues. If a deal cannot be agreed to sell Nkunku in the winter transfer window, Bayern are willing to wait until the summer for the PSG academy graduate.
