Foot Mercato understands that Aston Villa have seen a bid for centre-back Loïc Badé (24) rejected by La Liga side Sevilla.
With Diego Carlos nearing a move to Turkish side Fenerbahçe, Aston Villa are now actively working on securing his replacement. As reported by RMC Sport, an offer has even been submitted to the young Frenchman, who despite being called up to the France national team at the end of 2024, is yet to make his senior debut for Les Bleus.
However, an agreement must also be found with his club, Sevilla. According to a report from Foot Mercato, a bid worth €25m has been rejected by the La Liga outfit. That bid included €4m in bonuses. Sevilla are holding out for €30m for the former Stade Rennais defender, who is valued at €25m on Transfermarkt.
Badé is an ever-present for Sevilla. The France U21 international has made 17 appearances for his club in all competitions this season.
