Strasbourg prospect set for Eredivisie loan move

Having struggled for game time since making the move in the summer, Milos Lukovic (19) is set to spend the second half of the season away from RC Strasbourg Alsace, L’Équipe understands.
Lukovic was signed by Strasbourg from IMT Belgrade for €4.7m last January. He finished the season in his native Serbia before then making the move to France over the summer. However, it has been a difficult start to life at RCSA for the striker. He has been struggling with sciatica, nerve pain in the hip and leg, and this has severely limited his chances of imposing himself at his new club.
Limited to just 11 minutes of playing time in Ligue 1 this season across two appearances, L’Équipe understands that the striker will join Eredivisie side Heerenveen on a straight loan deal until the end of the current campaign. Heerenveen are currently 11th in the Dutch top flight.
