£10m Fulham player spotted doing something interesting in the Anfield tunnel at half-time against Liverpool

How Liverpool look back on Saturday’s draw with Fulham will ultimately only be determined at the end of the season.
If the Reds go on to clinch the Premier League title, it will be a hard-fought point won while down to ten men.
Should they come up short in the title race, though, then failing to beat the Cottagers at Anfield will take on a negative light.
Liverpool should be beating Fulham at home no matter the circumstances, with all due respect to the West London side, of course.
Nevertheless, it’s also true that Marco Silva has assembled a good team with some excellent players within it.
One of those is Andreas Pereira. And after the former Man United player scored the opener at Anfield on Saturday, he was spotted doing something interesting in the tunnel at half-time.
Andreas Pereira swaps shirts at half-time
Pereira was a thorn in Liverpool’s side on Saturday. The Brazil international ghosted in to get the game’s first goal and looked a threat from thereon in.
As a former United player, Pereira no doubt enjoyed getting a Premier League goal in front of the Kop.
But, as it turned out, the £10m signing was happy to be playing at Anfield on Saturday for another reason, too: Mohamed Salah.
Salah is one of world football’s true superstars and has a claim to currently be the best player on the planet.
As a result, perhaps it should not have been a surprise that LFCTV cameras caught Pereira asking for Salah’s shirt at half-time during their ‘Inside Anfield’ series.
As players from both teams emerge from the pitch at the break, Liverpool’s Egyptian King can be seen handing his top to Pereira following a conversation between the pair. The man is simply an icon.
What’s the latest on Mohamed Salah’s contract?
Saturday was the first in eight Premier League fixtures in which Salah has not found the net.
The 32-year-old was pushing to break the division’s current record, set at 11 consecutive matches by Jamie Vardy. That will have frustrated Salah and as things stand he is running out of time to hit that target.
Nevertheless, there was some positive news on the Egyptian’s contract coming out on Monday. Reports from Spain suggested that Salah will sign a contract over the next two weeks.
While there has been no corroboration on these reports in England, it is heartening to see that Salah staying is very much still a possiblity.
Let’s hope that Pereira will have more chances to swap with Liverpool’s No.11 next season and beyond.
