'Get going': Darren Bent urges £35m Liverpool player to leave Anfield and move to Chelsea instead

Liverpool have enjoyed a stunning start to life under Arne Slot, but the Reds will still be eager to improve in the coming months.
Slot has raised the standards of several Liverpool players, with Ryan Gravenberch particularly impressing in midfield.
The Anfield club currently top the Premier League and Champions League tables under the Dutchman, and are also into the latter stages of the League Cup.
But injuries could halt Liverpool's momentum, with Slot having been relatively fortunate in that area thus far.
One major issue has, however, resulted in first choice goalkeeper Alisson missing several matches, with Caoimhin Kelleher taking over.
Darren Bent tells Caoimhin Kelleher to leave Liverpool for Chelsea
And the Republic of Ireland international certainly hasn't disappointed, with Kelleher making countless world-class saves in recent matches.
But his Anfield future remains up in the air, particularly given that Giorgi Mamardashvili will arrive at Liverpool next summer.
Pundit Darren Bent believes an exit is the only option for Kelleher, who has recently been linked with a switch to Premier League rivals Chelsea.
"They’ve got three very, very good goalkeepers there," Bent said on talkSPORT. "But I think it’s getting to the point, certainly for him, because goalkeeper is almost a lonely position. It’s a little bit of a lonely position because something has got to go drastically wrong for you to get an opportunity really.
"I always look at [Emi] Martinez. He was at Arsenal for about 10 years, and obviously finally got an opportunity at the end, did incredibly well, won the FA Cup, was brilliant, and obviously leaves and the rest is history, wins the World Cup, is at a fantastic club in Aston Villa.
"But with Kelleher now, he's a very good goalkeeper, he’s 25. It’s time now, let’s get going now. With Chelsea, I think there’s an opportunity there. I’m not convinced on [Robert] Sanchez, if I’m honest, makes some unbelievable saves, but I think him going in there at £35million, that’s not even a risk I don't think."
In the discussion with Bent, talkSPORT's Andy Goldstein said that Chelsea are searching for a new shot-stopper, adding that Kelleher would cost them £35million, making him the fourth most expensive goalkeeper of all time.
What has Fabrizio Romano said about Caoimhin Kelleher and Chelsea?
Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea aren't pursuing Kelleher, but the goalkeeper is still likely to leave Anfield in the near future.
His talent is clear, but his frustration is likely growing and growing given his deputy role when Alisson returns from injury.

And he is certain to fall further down the pecking order when Mamardashvili joins from Valencia, with Kelleher deserving much better than that.
Player | Age | In squad | Appearances | Minutes played |
Alisson | 32 | 8 | 8 | 709 |
Caoimhin Kelleher | 25 | 16 | 8 | 720 |
Vitezslav Jaros | 23 | 12 | 2 | 101 |
Agreeing a deal for the Georgia international in the summer transfer window was certainly understandable, with plenty of uncertainty over Kelleher at that time.
But at the same time it was perhaps unfair on the latter to bring in another goalkeeper, with Slot not exactly displaying much confidence in the Irishman with that signature.
