Arne Slot has succeeded Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool with ease, with the former Feyenoord manager looking the part on Merseyside.

Liverpool sit top of the Premier League and look like real contenders for the title this season, with the Reds also getting off to a perfect start in the UEFA Champions League with a big win on the road against AC Milan.

With Liverpool’s League Cup defence beginning tonight against West Ham, Slot will have the chance to give a number of players the chance to impress him with the Dutch coach already having a set XI for the Premier League after such a strong start.

And one such hopeful, Conor Bradley, has now shared what he’s found refreshing about working under Slot.

Bradley enjoying Slot’s ideas on how Liverpool’s fullbacks work

Speaking to Liverpool’s official website, the 21-year-old defender revealed that Slot’s ideas on how fullbacks should operate have been enjoyable to work on, with Bradley admitting he has improved under his new coaches.

With Trent Alexander-Arnold thriving this season and Liverpool looking strong down the flanks, it’s clear that Slot’s new methods are working wonders already for fullbacks, and Bradley seems to be appreciating the lessons learned greatly.

Bradley said when asked about Slot’s methods on using fullbacks: “It is really refreshing, hearing a new voice and new tactics, he does ask a lot of the full-backs. Obviously, at different times, he wants us high and inside, or high and wide, or else dropping down into a four to help with build-up.

“So, he does ask a lot but it's just going to be about learning [and] making sure we do what he wants us to do. I've really enjoyed it, it's been really good just to learn the different ways he wants us to play and it's definitely making me a better player.”

Bradley could become a monster for Liverpool learning under Slot

Bradley showed last season under Jurgen Klopp why he is one of the most exciting prospects in the Premier League, with the defender already good enough to play for one of the best sides in the division.

And with Bradley loving life already under Slot, there’s a real chance that the right-back could become a monster in the coming months if he can break into the Liverpool XI and start getting more minutes in all competitions.

Tonight’s League Cup tie against West Hams should offer Bradley his first start of the season, and Bradley will want to prove how much he’s developed this season in Slot’s training sessions with a good performance against West Ham.
