'That fixture is tough': Jamie Redknapp now predicts what Liverpool will do vs Manchester United today

Liverpool take on Manchester United today in what is rightfully regarded as the biggest match in English football.
The two sides are the most successful in England with Arne Slot leading his Liverpool side into today’s fixture with the chance of going eight points clear of Arsenal with a game in hand after the Gunners’ slip-up on Saturday against Brighton & Hove Albion.
With United enduring one of their worst months in recent memory in December with zero wins, Ruben Amorim’s side head to Anfield with morale at rock bottom, with Liverpool licking their lips over what could happen today on Merseyside.
And Jamie Redknapp has now given his prediction on what Liverpool will do against United this Sunday.
Redknapp predicts guaranteed Liverpool win vs Manchester United
Speaking to Sky Sports, the former Liverpool midfielder shared how he sees a guaranteed win for the Reds against United, with the two sides in drastically different form heading into today’s clash at Anfield.
With United losing five of their last six Premier League games, Liverpool will be dreaming of another 7-0 win against their long-term English rivals, with Redknapp firmly of the belief that the league leaders are set for an easy win.

Redknapp said when asked about Liverpool’s chances against United: “Right now the way Liverpool are defending, the way they’re in control in midfield, they’ve got forwards who can just take the game away from you like that.
“I just don’t see anything else but a Liverpool win. I know that fixture is tough with the atmosphere and it gives you a totally different energy, but I can’t see anything else.”
What else has been said about Liverpool’s chances vs United?
With United in arguably their worst run of form in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era of the club, there’s good reason why many pundits and experts are predicting Liverpool to run riot against the Red Devils at Anfield.
Chris Sutton has already tipped to Liverpool to hit double figures against United, with the Reds showing in recent wins against Tottenham and West Ham that they can tear teams apart if they fail to set up correctly.
