Speaking to TNT Sports, the Brazilian international showered Salah with praise after the Egyptian international’s sensational strike in the second half to secure the win for Liverpool, with the goal seemingly coming out of nowhere.

Alisson said when asked about Salah’s quality: “He’s a player who helps us a lot. Sometimes it looks like he’s not in the game but then suddenly he makes the perfect touch and the ball is in the top corner, that’s his quality and his strength, we’re lucky to have him.”

Salah is showing no sign of slowing down just yet for Liverpool

At 32-years-old, you can be mistaken for thinking that Salah was in his mid-twenties still and enjoying his football with the freedom one would expect from a player of that age.

Yet the Egyptian international continues to defy the odds with incredible performance after incredible performance for Liverpool, with Salah at his very best tonight against Bologna in the Champions League.

Should this be Salah’s last year at Anfield, it could be one to remember if the winger can once again guide Liverpool to success, with the Champions League a realistic goal for the Reds.
